Our resident Dakimakura collector’s grandmother (we think she’s really cool) has a new name for Dakimakura and we have decided to adopt it as the new code name!!  She calls them “Sexy Pillow Case”, acronym: S.P.C!! Cool eh?
So remember to use it when you want to order or buy one from us!! XD

Stripey Insists Zyl Adores Neesama!

The first thing that crossed my mind when I read the above : So who is the 攻め (seme) and who is the 受け (uke)?

This post is not to bash the lovely unification of Stripey & Zyl. But I hope no Tanuki was hurt in the gattai process. Just wanted to update the blog a bit and let the world know that we are still very much alive. (Altough I almost lol’ed myself to death reading the above “Maintenance Mode” message.)

Many things have happened just before our Japan trip. The trip itself was uber tiring, but for all the good reasons. Then there was the A.C.M.E event and now we are busy preparing for AFA’09.

Attempts to keep this blog updated is really a challenge… ^^U Anyway, hope to be able to post some good news once things settle down. ^_^

 I had a lot of fun! The Malaysians we worked with in the KKnM booth were really an enthusiastic and hyper lot! 
Here’s the most WTH moment for us though… when we arrived at the hall, we found out that there was some mis-communication and the organizers thought… we wanted just… A WALL… so we literally got… A WALL….

Luckily, the organizing team was on the ball, and the problem was solved the very next morning and we got our booth shell scheme in place ^_^

As usual… I didn’t get to see much of the event… because of this… which happened on BOTH days T^T

And it never ended…

We also implemented a new game with our booth, I hope the people who got to play the Moe Moe Janken had fun! Here’s some pics of our booth cosplayers! Many many thanks for your hard work! You were great!

Worst moment at Daicon… was when the lights went out at around 2pm on Day 2. There were customers who were still browsing… but I made the decision that since it was rather dangerous for our staffers to be running around the booth in the dark, we packed up and finished off for the day. I apologize to those who still wanted to buy stuff, you can still get them from our shop here, we will send them over to you ^_^

Thank you so much for the warm reception, and we apologize to EVERYONE who had to queue to come in to see the goods, again, it was for everyone’s safety and to make sure everyone gets served well ^_^ To the people who were helping in the booth, thank you again! You were really great!!

Found an old “friend” yesterday in KLCC. We haven’t seen this place in Singapore for quite some time, so you can understand why we went bonkers!

How many of you miss this?? Coney dog and curly fries anyone? Bon appetite!!! XD

On a side note, thanks to all the Malaysians here for the warm reception! You guys are really so nice!

Shina Dark : Kuroki Tsuki no Ou to Souheki no Himegimi (シャイナ・ダルク 〜黒き月の王と蒼碧の月の姫君) is a fantasy and comedy manga series written by Bunjuurou Nakayama (known for his works for Dokyusei novel edition & Mahoromatic) and being drawn by Yukari Higa (Artist for Mahou Senki Lyrical Nanoha Force ~ Magical War Chronicle Lyrical Nanoha Force ~ series). It was first serialised in ASCII Media Works manga magazine “Dengeki Teioh” and then later moved to and currently serialised in “Dengeki Daioh”. For more information on the story plot, check Wiki.

As of today, three bound volumes of its manga has been released. The most recent third volume comes bundled with a special DVD containing four animated music video produced by animation studio Shaft (Produced Anime : Mahoromatic, Mahou Sensei Negima, Hidamari Sketch, Maria Holic)

When I saw the news from Resinya, I was suprised and pleased that they were very bold to produce a PVC figure from a not so well-known title. Maybe this indicates a possible OVA release of Shina Dark? Below are more preview pictures of this Blue Moon Princess PVC figure :

Knowing Resinya, we should be seeing the Green Moon Princess Galett Fey Sowauge as the next PVC line-up.

Yeeesssh! KKnM will be bringing this Lucky Star X Macross Frontier Ichiban Kuji Premium by Banpresto! Judging from the response for the Macross Frontier Kuji held not long ago, we will be bringing more sets to meet the demand. And in support of this we have also reduced prices for this kuji to $16 or $14 (with every KKnM purchase of $20) respectively. Scheduled to be out in September, so watch out for it! :3

And don”t forget, the Gurren Lagann Ichiban Kuji Premium starts this Sat 20th June at 1:30pm!

Last week we saw the top ten ranking debut of a Hidden Dragon. This week we see the stir of a Crouching Taiga. Aisaka Taiga of Tora Dora has once again proved that she is a force to be recon with and pawed her way to the top ten ranking to be at number 9.

A gentle reminder to all those who have not submitted the voting slips. We must have the voting slips on the last day 28th Jun 5pm in order to tally the results. Yes! In two weeks time, on 28th Jun 6pm, we will conduct the lucky draw and announce the winners of the prizes. From the current looks of things, people who voted for “Fate ass kicking” Mio could be the lucky bunch that will stand a chance to win the Etsu Limited Edition Tinkle Figurine Set. But we can never be too sure. K-On! ends this week and Mio will be forgotten as quickly as any other female anime character that is denied a second season.
